Nurturing the young, however, is never cheap. The school was valued at $8.5 million in 2010 and requires some TLC to get it back in shape. Transforming it into Calgary’s first dedicated space for living and working creatively will cost even more. But like any good parent can tell you, it’s worth the cost to see your young grow into something remarkable.
